About

Who am I? I’m a world citizen born in Barcelona and currently spending most of my time in Brussels.

What do I do? I devote my life to doing many things. This is not because I’m particularly skilled, I just like doing many things. I spent last 6 years working at international level and running international campaigns in the field of international governance and environment. I also do political advocacy work on EU legislation trying to bring a bit of light to the sometime obscure practices of EU legislation and promoting democracy and transparency in the European decision making system.

Why am I here? Well, to put it in Cantona’s words “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.”

This blog is in english and catalan to be able to see the catalan version see www.simonlluma.eu. The posts in Catalan and English are different and normally they are not translated.

The posts in this blog express only my opinions and not necessarily those of the organisations I’m member of.
