		<description>I agree that this is the most likely reason they will use to justify the split. In fact they are already doing it.
However my concern remains that the environment (and hence coherent EU climate change policy) will suffer from this change. But as I say in the post; with the disparate amount of portfolios of the new Commission we have no other option. I don&#039;t think we will be able to avoid an increase in contradictory policies of the EU but this can be a reason in the future to scale down the number of commissioners to a workable amount.</description>
